Jeanie (Owner) Having my own art studio has been a life long dream that has finally come true. I have always loved working with children and creating art. As a child most children mow lawns for extra money, I was selling my drawings on the side of the street on a card table and painting faces at birthday parties. While still in high school I attended Boston University of fine arts on the weekends. I then joined the military as a medic and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to paint B-52 bomber nose art, and murals in the pediatric wards of the hospital. I also attended Minot state university, took art lessons on the military base and a masters art program through ICS. After returning to NH I taught after school art lessons for a number of years before opening my own studio. I am continually taking new pottery classes and love to share the new techniques I learn.

I have two wonderful children Caleb (8) and Justin (5) if you have been to the studio you have probably seen them around. I have always been close to my family. My mother owned Camp Sunshine for a number of years where I ran the art program. I have done everything with my family from making jewelry for a jewelry business to driving a school bus with my mother. This brings me to my next staff member my mother Mrs.B

(Mrs.B helps students learn how to pour ceramics)
Mrs.B (Helen Boisvert) is our ceramic instructor, she pours almost all the green-wear you see around the studio. Mrs.B brings new green wear to the studio almost daily. We have 100,000+ molds to choose from so if there is something you are interested in we can probably find it. Helen has over eight years of ceramic experience and teaches ceramics at the studio Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7pm - 10pm.
A family owned and operated business As a dream becomes a reality I would like to thank my family for being right here beside me. From my parents pouring ceramics, my grandmother who had never painted ceramics in her life and now goes to class three nights a week, my Aunt Sue who is always willing to help someone with a project, my children hand out flyer's and dress in their paint palette costumes. Even my husband (Jim) who never thought he could do anything artistic realized that even he can paint ceramics. Jim has set up the studio with a great custom computer program to keep us organized. Thank You All
Wouldn’t it be nice to have an oasis where you could leave the work day world behind, relax and, while you’re at it, create something meaningful for you and your family?
Welcome to Art Escape Pottery Studio. Where, you’ll learn to throw pottery on a wheel, hand-build a clay sculpture, paint ceramics or best of all, host a unique, memorable party. Your options are as endless as your creativity allows.
