Art Escape

Calling all guys & girls ages 6 and up.....  looking for an ARTSY way to spend your school vacation!  The Art Escape crew is gearing up for a summer of Art-rageous FUN!

We've got awesome, new projects this year, as well as a few all time favorites with a new twist. 

2010 children will now enjoy fused glass projects!

Morning         9am - 12pm

Lunch          12pm - 1pm 

Afternoon      1pm - 4pm

Drawing and Painting 4:15-5:00pm ($5 per session)

Half Day Cost:             Full Day Cost (9am-4pm)

Full week now includes a free pizza party on friday and a camp T-shirt!

AM Ceramics, Glass N' More - We will learn how to cast/pour our own ceramics from molds.  Children are  amazed to learn how ceramics are created from start to finish.  Children also create glass jewlery, key chains, sun catchers and more.  Children must be at least 7 years old for glass projects.

PM "Explorations in Clay"- Includes lessons on using the pottery wheel and hand building clay sculptures.  Children will learn to make fun and functional pieces including bowls, cups, candle holders and more using the potters wheel.  Class may also include drawing, painting, glass and more.

Even though we use similar mediums in each session, the projects change weekly to accommodate artists who attend multiple weeks.  

Children attending both sessions should bring two snacks a bag lunch and drinks each day..... (our studio has cold drinks for $1 if needed). 

"Dress for a Mess" as we like to say. Some projects can get a little bit messy, but hey! that's part of the artistic fun.

A $25 non-refunable deposit is required to hold a space in each class. The balance will be due prior to the first class.
